Pervy Pete: wannabe Corby MP condones “child love”

Regular readers of this web site and those who have followed the sorry saga that is Peter Reynolds may no longer be shocked at what comes from the pen of the gaffe-prone leader of CLEAR.
That said, today’s blog entry from Reynolds where he dismisses the concern over the runaway 15-year-old schoolgirl who eloped to France with her 30-year-old maths teacher as “Hysterical PC Nonsense About A Young Couple In Love”, should raise an eyebrow or two of even the most un-PC of persons.
Always one to observe on current media stories, Reynolds writes, “I really am sick to death of all the pious wailing and weeping about Megan Stammers running off with her teacher, Jeremy Forrest.”
He continues: “Megan is also beneath the age of consent but the ludicrous, preposterous idea that he is responsible for ‘child abduction’ shows just how easily the police can be swayed by media pressure.”
“These are two young people in love who have eloped, foolishly but understandably.”
What kind of perverted mind could only see this as a young couple’s romantic adventure?
Reynolds is quick to point out she is near the age of consent in the UK and past the age of consent in France where the couple were discovered. At what age below the age of consent would Reynolds have a problem with a male teacher eloping abroad with one of his female students? The age of consent in Spain is 13 [1], so presumably Reynolds wouldn’t have a problem if this teacher had popped over to the Costa del Sol with a 13 year old girl pupil.
There is no age of consent in a small number of countries; perhaps Reynolds wouldn’t mind if a primary school teacher eloped with a 10-year-old girl to Cameroon or the Central African Republic, since there is no legal consensual age in these states [2].
Reynolds concedes the maths teacher, Mr Forrest, has probably committed a technical breach of the law, but says it the media who deserve the real condemnation.
Now, aside from the fact that the newly wed Mr Forrest, aged 30, has allegedly committed a very real criminal offence by taking a minor abroad and having sex with her, the additional fact that he is a teacher who has abused his position makes this an extremely serious offence.
Reynolds seems to think because the girl is nearly 16 it somehow makes it all right, however, if this girl were 16 or even 17 then a very serious criminal offence would have still taken place. The Sexual Offences Act 2003 made it an offence for a person over 18 in a position of trust to have a sexual relationship with a child under 18, regardless of whether the relationship is consensual and even if the person does not teach the child.
This is truly disgusting; Reynolds is demonising a 15-year-old and her parents, who had no idea what was going on with their daughter and taking the side of a grown adult in a position of authority – a grown adult with a wife, breaking the law and fleeing the country with a minor! He briefly acknowledges the power imbalance then dismisses it entirely and makes the authority figure the VICTIM!
Reynolds, a long time “champion” against Political Correctness (remember when he labelled critics of the British National Party as “politically correct fools”?), says the outrage at the antics of this teacher is nothing more than “hysterical PC nonsense”. It’s not politically correct to think a 30-year-old teacher shouldn’t run off with his 15-year-old student. Pretending to be non-PC is these days becoming just an excuse for bigots and misogynists like Reynolds.
We all knew from Pete’s sex profiles he had a penchant for schoolgirl types and this latest blog shows a very worrying pattern of Reynolds’ misogyny and view of women to be treated as submissive sex objects. This man has got major women issues.
And this is not the first time Peter Reynolds has shown a worrying attitude towards women. A few months ago Reynolds wrote if a woman had sex with a man and she were to wake to find him having sex with her again then it cannot possibly be rape. What kind of man thinks it’s ok to rape a woman while she’s asleep? He would appear to see women as nothing more than blow up dolls, which I suspect with views like his, is probably the nearest Pete has got to a shag in years.
How many more times does Peter Reynolds have to demonstrate his unsuitability to lead CLEAR, let alone demonstrate his unsuitability to be the elected Member of Parliament for Corby? This latest blog entry yet again demonstrates Peter Reynolds’ appalling judgement and unpalatable views. The more I read Peter Reynolds’ latest blog post, the more he comes across like any sexual predator would, trying desperately to justify his behaviour whilst shifting the blame on to his victim. If the “cannabis campaign” back him after this then I really do despair!

Wouldn’t one think that Peter Reynolds had other things better to do than be spending a lot of his time in observing reactions from such a story? The fact that he does spend a lot of time on this kind of thing is shown by his comment “I really am sick to death…”.
Members of CLEAR should be getting sick to death by now that the leader of their party is constantly involving his time being publicly spent in extra-curriculum current affairs instead of maintaining the post that he is supposed to be maintaining – and just to remind Reynolds of what that post is, here – leading a political party that is supposed to be working for cannabis law reform in the United Kingdom.
Showing that once again, Peter Reynolds is not a suitable person to be leading CLEAR – a *SINGLE FOCUS* UK political party. Do we find the leaders of other UK political groups hanging out in constantly writing articles about UK current affairs? OF COURSE NOT.

Is there no depths to which this “man” won’t plummet…ffs,One cannot condone this sort of behavior from what is supposed to be, “someone in a very trusted position”,ie “a teacher”.But then again coming from a “man” with his “resume” it doesn’t really surprise me at all.Just google “Peter Reynolds racist” and all will become CLEAR (pun intended)…..
Irrespective of what Reynolds actually wrote, you’d think he would have learned by now that there are people, rightly or wrongly, that will pounce on his words, people that will be fighting against him in the forthcoming by-election, people he has upset and offended – lot’s of them, including the press that he is also criticising again here.
He should learn to keep his mouth shut especially before an election!
FACT is Peter Reynolds is THE candidate for the Cannabis Law Reform Party – CLEAR – a single-issue party that claims to want to represent the interests of all UK cannabis users – despite the fact that Reynolds also elsewhere writes about “crazy” stoners, “rebels and law-0braekers”
I TOLD Reynolds even before he “kidnapped” the LCA and invented “CLEAR”, that any candidate for a single-issue party must be very careful what they say on other issues as that would win or lose votes.
It does appear that Reynolds is out to actually lose votes, to fail miserably, to bring the cannabis campaign into even more ill-repute and I am convinced that his one and total aim to get publicity (and money) for himself – which is exactly how he explained his previous blogs that included anti-gay or racial prejudice statements, his blog referring to “evil Jews”, his blog calling for war on Israel, and his continued attack on other cannabis campaigners.
I don’t like the man and I certainly do not trust him – he is probably the worst thing that has happened to the campaign for cannabis freedom since … well, ever!
But his continuing place as leader of clear and the very fact that so many people that must be either apathetic of his views or support them keep him in his delusion of power goes to show that legalisation is supported by all types, albeit that Reynolds and CLEAR are not actually calling for legalisation at all, but licensing and taxation, a form of prohibition.

Mr. Reynolds once again shows his personal sexual penchant with his outrageous comments. I hope voters in Corby will show this despicable man were to get off. The girl was kidnapped without consent, first and foremost. Its surprising that Mr. Reynolds police friends did not make that CLEAR to him, do they condone his comments?
although i am not as open minded as peter to advertise on sex sites, i have worked on many porn sites and i am not a prude. but the idea of a teacher running off to france with a 15yo being OK, is wrong. i am quite sure this situation is not at the outer reaches of his bounderies. so just how young a girl is ok peter? 14? 13? 12? grass on the wicket, so lets play cricket….
Once again, one can only speculate as to why the police aren’t taking more of an interest in this man.
His track record prior to hijacking the LCA would appear to include fraud, domestic violence and hard drugs. And to that we can now add regularly publishing racist, sexist and homophobic material on the web and even (it would appear) condoning the abduction of, and unlawful sex with, a 15 year old school girl by a teacher.
Now I wonder what the police would find if they took a good look at Pete’s computer and why they haven’t done that already given the sheer volume of complaints he’s been making about other people.
