The High Standard of Conduct for Peter Reynolds

Once again Peter “I’ll sue everybody” Reynolds is up to his old tricks.  Actually, they’re better than his old tricks.  Normally he likes to defend the indefensible and question any rational position.  I suppose he’s been drinking extra heavy lately, because he just flew right off the handle and provided me with even more material.

Keep it up Petey; you make it so damn easy.

Let’s start with a little context.  Peter Reynolds has gone and filed defamation papers against a number of people.  He claims they published things which were insulting to his character.  He doesn’t like potty-mouth I suppose, … except, wait … wait for it …

This is the man who is looking to enforce a higher standard of truth and public conduct with the cudgel of the court system.  This is the man who doesn’t want to be labelled a misogynist or sexist.  He is actually suing one person, in part, for calling him sexist!  This is a man, who thinks he is beyond reproach, and then turns around and says the most disgusting things you could dream up.

Remember how he tried to minimize the heinous stories about famed kiddy-fiddler Jimmy Savile?  Here it is; now you do.

It would be one thing to say we should all shut our mouth and not discuss the case until the courts sort out truth from hysteria.  It would be one thing to call for trial by jury instead of trial by media.  It is another thing entirely to characterize the alleged victim of sexual assault a whore, and also an opportunist.  It’s really outlandish to characterize sexual assault as “making a pass”.  This man’s belief system would seem a bit outmoded in an army barracks circa 1912, now days you almost think he’s got to be kidding.  It has to be a wind-up, right?  He isn’t kidding though, not even a bit.  It isn’t satire or controversy – Peter Reynolds just hates women because they won’t have sex with him.

With those attitudes, can you blame them?

This is the kind of outmoded, inappropriate, old-world patriarchal drivel that Peter spouts round the clock to anybody who will listen and nobody when they won’t.  He isn’t racist, homophobic or misogynist – he just likes his Asians few in number, his homosexuals deep in the closet and not working on airliners, and his women to take their sexual assault with a good sense of humor.

Are these the attitudes and beliefs of a pro-cannabis campaigner?

Aside from the fact this little outburst of his further details what we have already said about him here on Peter Reynolds Watch, it also rather nicely frames the seriousness of his legal actions.  He seems to think abusive language directed towards the victims of sexual assault is just fine and dandy, but call him on his bullshit and he’s going to file legal action against you.  It’s not even just hypocritical.  It’s downright comedic, because he really takes himself seriously, and any three-year-old would see the absurdity of it.

Looking back though, this is a man who seems most interested in defending child molesters, hate-mongers, and just about anything overtly evil.  This is a man who called child abduction by manipulation involving a young girl’s teacher a “romantic adventure”.  This is a man who quite clearly believes that sex is the entitlement of white, middle aged men, and all who question such should be struck down by the hand of the Almighty himself.

Peter is, to use a vulgarity, absofuckinglutely batshit crazy, and maybe dangerous.  I only say “maybe” on the last part, because I have nothing concrete showing sexual impropriety towards women, but with the attitudes he adopts I would be forced to recommend to any female acquaintances that they not allow themselves to be alone with this man.

If you look again at his posts, his spelling is all fucked-up too.  He’s clearly drunk.

Five British Pounds Sterling is all it costs to support Peter Reynolds and his efforts to sue everyone who dares speak out against him.  You might even get a little green CLEAR wristband, so all your friends and family know that you support misogyny, racism, homophobia and just all-around, good old-fashioned evil.

Also, I’m told he smells.
