Last year I warned folks about the Cannabis Trade Association (CTA), a dodgy scam run by Peter Reynolds.
I received a threatening message from the CTA telling me to take down the article, informing me he had very large tentacles. Naturally, I told him to fuck off.
A number of people contacted us to say they had concerns about the Cannabis Trade Association and informed us they had been duped by their false claims. They too had received threatening messages from Guy Coxal of the CTA when they expressed their concerns.
Lord Harlington, who has one of those fake Lordships you can buy online, was particularly annoyed at the accusation the CTA were making false claims, which we stand fully by.
As usual, our allegations have proven to be right, this time with the CTA pissing off the Government of Guernsey, one of the small bailiwicks that is part of the Channel Islands off the north coast of France.
A local newspaper in Guernsey reported: “HSC spokesman has said the claims made by Guy Coxall of the CTA claiming to be working with the SOG on policy developments and new Cannabis products directive is not the case.
“‘Guy Coxall of the CTA has recently gone on record to say he will be working with the States of Guernsey on policy developments and a new “Cannabis Products Directive”. This is not the case, and Guernsey will continue to liaise with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the UK Home Office on the status of this directive and other developments in the industry.”

Additionally, the Government of Guernsey issued an official statement on their website to deny that the CTA was not working with them
The article clearly stated: “The Office of the Committee for Health & Social Care (HSC) has been made aware that a trade body, the Cannabis Trades Association UK (CTA) has made statements claiming to be authorised by the States of Guernsey, incorrectly stating that the CTA are involved in the ongoing work being undertaken by the States of Guernsey in respect of the hemp and medicinal cannabis industry.”
Additionally, they said “Guy Coxall of the CTA has recently gone on record to say he will be working with the States of Guernsey on policy developments and a new “Cannabis Products Directive”. This is not the case, and Guernsey will continue to liaise with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the UK Home Office on the status of this directive and other developments in the industry.”
To make it clear, the CTA is not working with the Guernsey Government.
That’s not what CLEAR have been saying, the CTA and Peter Reynolds have made regular claims they have been working with the Government of Guernsey, here’s one example from only a few days ago:

It’s not the first time Peter Reynolds has made outlandish claims or falsely asserted he was working with respected academics. We’ve reported in the past how Reynolds lied about working with respected academics like Prof David Nutt and Dr Gary Potter; it’s of no surprise the CTA, which has Reynolds’ filthy fingerprints all over it, should be up to the same old dirty tricks. It is nice to see our previous article calling the CTA a scam vindicated by the Government of Guernsey.
Peter Reynolds has also made false claims that the CTA is working with the UK Medicines and Healthcare Regulations Authority (MHRA), which the MHRA have also denied saying this is completely untrue.
Meanwhile, the Facebook page of the CTA has just mysteriously gone offline.
